The difference between submersible pump and submersible slurry pump

The difference between a submersible pump and a submersible slurry pump is that the submersible is named after the immersion state of the pump when it is running again. Submersible slurry pumps can only be said to belong to a kind of submersible pumps, but the submersible pumps we usually refer to mostly refer to clean water pumps, such as agricultural irrigation/domestic water. The submersible slurry pump is mainly prominent in the word slurry, which mainly refers to the characteristics of wear resistance and particle passage.

Overview of submersible pumps

Submersible pumps are important equipment for deep well water lifting. When in use, the whole unit is submerged into the water to work and extract groundwater to the surface. It is used for domestic water, mine rescue, industrial cooling, farmland irrigation, seawater lifting, ship load adjustment, and fountain landscape.

As far as the medium is used, submersible pumps can be roughly divided into three categories: clean water submersible pumps, sewage submersible pumps, and seawater submersible pumps (corrosive).

Installation method of submersible pump

1. Vertical use, such as in a general well;

2. Inclined use, such as in inclined roadways in mines;

3. Horizontal use, such as use in a pool.

Overview of the characteristics of submersible slurry pumps

The submersible slurry pump is represented by the ZJQ type, which is mainly designed to transport slurry containing particles, not to transport pure liquids, so wear resistance is the essential difference between it and other submersible pumps

Generally, it has a relatively large flow channel and can be widely used in mining, electric power, metallurgy, coal, environmental protection and other industries to transport abrasive slurry containing solid particles. Such as metallurgical concentrator ore slurry transportation, thermal power plant hydraulic ash removal, coal washing plant coal slurry and heavy medium transportation, river dredging, river dredging, etc. In the chemical industry, some corrosive slurries containing crystals can also be transported.
